Holiday Cottages in St Ives

Artist Cottage       SLEEPS 6   Old town   St Ives

Heart of St Ives - a beautifully restored and updated 3 double bedroom fisherman's cottage with 2 bathrooms, minutes from beaches in the Downalong conservation area (old town) in what is regarded as one of the  prettiest cobbled streets in St Ives.

Originally a fisherman's cottage Artist Cottage retains the charm, authenticity and integrity of its rich history - the cottage has been favoured by artists over the years. With 2 separate entrances -a set of granite steps lead up to the first floor and at street level a stable door entrance leads to the former net store. The  kitchen on the first floor has lovely roofscape views to the harbour beyond through a sash window with a window seat and old wooden shutters. This cottage has a unique character with the internal spaces complimented with a mixture of antique, vintage and contemporary furniture. The attention to detail and the use of high quality fittings and appliances throughout the property result in the space feeling more like a home than  a holiday cottage.
